Shipping Policies
We ship within 10 days of receipt of the order on most items. If we cannot ship within that time frame we will notify you as soon as we become aware.

If you need your item rushed to you, please contact us and be prepared to pay an internal rush fee during the busy seasons and a higher shipping carrier charge for faster delivery. Please contact us for any questions and or for our internal lead time.

We are not responsible for shipping delays once the item leaves Nadean Designs. If you value your purchase consider purchasing insurance or an upgraded shipping method that comes with some insurance such as USPS Priority or USPS Priority Express.


The buyer will be responsible for paying any additional customs, duties, taxes, or fees that may be imposed by your government for items that are imported into your country. Such fees will vary by country.

We do not ship any items that are purchased as "Gifts" in order to avoid customs fees for the buyer as this would be illegal.

If I do not like the jewelry I ordered, can I get a refund?

You are welcome to return an item to us for an exchange. If the time period is within 30 days of the time you received the item in the mail.

I need my item tomorrow. What do you charge to ship overnight?

You can buy expedited shipping in our shipping section or contact Nadean Designs at https://etsy.me/3lZJqPc for assistance. If upgraded shipping is purchased please contact us to confirm we can ship your item quickly. During the Holidays and/or busy times Nadean Designs may charge an internal order rush fee of $30.00.

Can you make a necklace longer or shorter than the length stated in the item listing?

Length changes are easily made to most items. Please contact us so we can set up a custom listing for you if you are lengthening the item for an upgrade charge in labor and materials.

Care instructions

14 karat gold and higher karat gold are really the only items safe for swimming and showering daily.

14 karat gold-filled, vermeil, sterling silver, and rose gold-filled will usually all oxidize and change color over time.
Gold plated items will change color the fastest.

Ethiopian opals are porous and they will absorb body oils, lotions, makeup, and tanning sprays. Keep dry and away from these materials. Do not swim, garden, workout, or shower in your opals
Do not use any ultrasound, polishing cloths, or vibration type cleaners on opals.

For opals, it is best to gently clean with a microfiber cloth (glass lens cleaner).

14k, gold-filled, and sterling items without gemstones, polishing cloths, and ultrasonic cleaners are safe.

Do all orders include shipping insurance?

The buyer is responsible for purchasing their own insurance on all orders. However, if you have questions, please contact us. We can easily help with your insurance purchase.

My item arrived damaged. What do I do to get it replaced?

If the item was damaged upon arrival, please send a photo. Our team will work to replace your item as quickly as possible, including all shipping costs. Customers must contact us within 7 days of receiving the item.

Legal imprint
